This weekend I finally finished a work marathon (well, sort of – I feel like I’ve been taken off the course in an ambulance, but most of the hard yards have been done), made two batches of vegan muffins, got called ‘senorita’ by an enchilada-making Mexican and dined at a frightfully posh French restaurant (courtesy of my visiting in-laws).
